I've got all the answers you are looking for.
I’ve been a wedding photographer for about six years now and I’ve collected a certain experience about all this crazy planning thing. And therefore I’ve decided to sum up the most frequent ones. Take a minute to read them all!
Do you cover the full wedding day?
Yes, from a couple hours before the ceremony, for bride's and groom's getting ready, until the wedding cake cut and your first dance. I usually wait and shoot some moments of the party, before leaving. But I also have some other, smaller, packages for any different needs.
How many images do you delivery? Can we receive every image you take?
The number depends on the type of package you choose - from a full day wedding coverage you will receive at least 600+ images - but I can guarantee you that I will include plenty of images of all the moments of your day. And most important, the number of images won’t affect the price of the service in any way: every picture is a special memory for you and all I want is to create as many memories for you as I can.
But trust me when I say, you do not want to get every image I take! I don’t give RAW unedited images for two reasons: first, because choosing a photojournalistic style, I take so many photos that a selection is essential. And the second reason is that I believe that editing has an essential role in my photography and I would never give an incomplete job to my clients; don’t worry, I’ll include every meaningful moment, every smile of your guests. I’ll just delete duplicate images, missed focused shots or shots with unflattering expressions.
How long does it take to get our photos after the wedding?
Generally, it will take about 6-8 weeks for you to receive your online gallery, but it depends on the season. In any case, the delivery is guaranteed within 4 months from your wedding.
Do you shoot your wedding alone?
I generally work by myself, but an assistant photographer is possible for every wedding. I do recommend it for larger scale weddings. A second camera offers another perspective on your wedding as well a higher diversity of images and motives. Moreover, a second shooter will allow me to focus on the bride’s getting ready, while my helper will follow the groom and his family. Contact me for more info about the costs for a second photographer.
How much do you edit the photos?
As you can see from the images, my editing technique is minimal but effective. I always strive to shoot in the right, golden, soft light to ensure a good shoot when I click the shutter, because I firmly believe in the natural beauty of the moment. I mostly color correct the tones of each image and I take care of the other technical aspects (lights and shadows, black and whites, exposure, …). In any case I sometimes use Photoshop if there’s a blemish on a great shoot (like scratches, livid or acne) cause everyone has to look their absolute best on such a special day!
